Kindergarten is great!!

In our Kindergarten classroom, all of the kids are great friends! We have so much fun together. This class is full of loving, smart, and creative students. They keep Mrs. Branham and I on our toes everyday!
Throughout each day we complete Reading Mastery lessons with centers and seatwork. We learn how to work together in centers and how to work independently during seatwork. They LOVE that they are learning to read! We practice sounding words out and recognizing sight words.
We also do Language for Learning where we sit together as a class to learn different concepts like part to whole and sequencing. We work together to answer questions and problem solve. After the Language for Learning lesson, we work on our skills for following directions. We complete a workbook page, where the directions are given verbally.
If you would like to come to observe us while we work so hard during our day, please let me know. Remember, if you observe... you must only observe! The kids will want you to work with them, but I assure you that they can complete it independently.
Thanks for all of your continuous support. It is very important for us to work as a team with your children. Mrs. Branham and I only want the best for your child!
