Mother Nature... "Is that a real person"?

On our field trip to Holliday Park we had wonderful weather! It was not too cold and not too warm. The kids had so much fun running around the playground area and on the spider web. We ate lunch on some picnic tables near the playground equipment.
After lunch, we walked to the nature center to learn about the way animals use their senses. Mr. Frank talked about skunks, deer, and toads.
We also went on a nature hike. We listened to the birds calling and talking to each other. They can be identified by their chirping calls. There were 3 guides who took a small group for the tour. They showed us different types of trees and their leaves.
It was a wonderful time!
One child asked if Mother Nature is a real person. That is going to lead into a lesson at school about how Mother Nature made the absolutely beautiful things in this world!
