We had a very special visitor come to St. Joan of Arc last month. The kids were looking forward to talk with Officer Clouse about strangers.
He reminded the kids to never open the front door for strangers! He said that even if your parents are in the other room, you should not open the door. He also told us to never talk to strangers if we are out at the park or in a public place.
The kids asked Officer Clouse lots of great questions. He told us about the different parts of his uniform, showed us his police car, and turned on the lights and sirens.
I think one of the most important things that he taught the kids was not to be afraid of a police officer. They are around our community to help!
Thank you, Officer Clouse!
